GSE call for photovoltaic incentives

With the approval of the FERX Decree by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE), Italy is accelerating the development of renewable energy and creating new opportunities for investment in the sector.

The measure provides for the development of more than 37 GW of new capacity from renewable sources by 2030, of which approximately 10 GW will be from photovoltaic systems.

The GSE call for incentives is expected in the coming months, offering businesses the opportunity to plan new investments now.

The new incentive framework can also represent an important opportunity for companies intending to replace asbestos-containing roofing, integrating remediation interventions with the construction of photovoltaic systems.
